چکیده
We report the discovery of two exoplanets orbiting around HD 212729 (TOI\,1052, TIC 317060587), a $T_{\rm eff}=6146$K star with V=9.51 observed by TESS in Sectors 1 and 13. One exoplanet, TOI-1052b, is Neptune-mass transits star, an additional planet TOI-1052c radial velocities but not seen to transit. confirm planetary nature TOI-1052b using precise velocity observations from HARPS determined its parameters joint RV photometry analysis. has radius $2.87^{+0.29}_{-0.24}$ R$_{\oplus}$, mass $16.9\pm 1.7$ M$_{\oplus}$, orbital period 9.14 days. does show any data, minimum $34.3^{+4.1}_{-3.7}$ M$_{\oplus}$ 35.8 days, placing it just interior 4:1 mean motion resonance. Both planets are best fit relatively high only marginally significant eccentricities $0.18^{+0.09}_{-0.07}$ for b $0.24^{+0.09}_{-0.08}$ c. perform dynamical analysis internal structure model as well deriving stellar chemical abundances. The density $3.9^{+1.7}_{-1.3}$ g cm$^{-3}$ consistent similar Neptune. A nearby Gaia DR3 same distance proper TOI-1052, at sky projected separation ~1500AU, making this potential wide binary system.

A new Neptune - mass planet orbiting HD 219828 ⋆
Two years ago a new benchmark for the planetary survey was set with the discoveries of three extrasolar planets with masses below 20M⊕. In particular, the serendipitous discovery of the 14M⊕ planet around µ Ara found with HARPS with a semi-amplitude of only 4 m s −1 put in evidence the tremendous potential of HARPS for the search of this class of very low-mass planets. Aiming to discovering new...
متن کاملEvolutionary Analysis of Gaseous Sub-neptune-mass Planets with Mesa
Sub-Neptune-sized exoplanets represent the most common types of planets in the Milky Way, yet many of their properties are unknown. Here, we present a prescription to adapt the capabilities of the stellar evolution toolkit Modules for Experiments in Stellar Astrophysics (MESA) to model sub-Neptune mass planets with H/He envelopes. With the addition of routines treating the planet core luminosit...
متن کاملThe Origin and Nature of Neptune-like Planets Orbiting Close to Solar Type Stars
The sample of known exoplanets is strongly biased to masses larger than the ones of the giant gaseous planets of the solar system. Recently, the discovery of two extrasolar planets of considerably lower masses around the nearby stars GJ 436 and ρ Cancri was reported. They are like our outermost icy giants, Uranus and Neptune, but in contrast, these new planets are orbiting at only some hundredt...
متن کاملProbabilistic Mass–radius Relationship for Sub-neptune-sized Planets
The Kepler Mission has discovered thousands of planets with radii <4 Å R , paving the way for the first statistical studies of the dynamics, formation, and evolution of these sub-Neptunes and super-Earths. Planetary masses are an important physical property for these studies, and yet the vast majority of Kepler planet candidates do not have theirs measured. A key concern is therefore how to map...
